The use of sustainable and legally sourced timber has been and continues to be encouraged. The United States is one of the important timber suppliers to Vietnam. To help Vietnamese businesses learn about the applications of American timber in processing, design, etc., and to meet with US timber suppliers, the Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association, in collaboration with the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), is organizing a workshop on the application of US hardwood in wood processing and design.
The workshop provided the following information:
– Applications of American wood in processing and design
– Facilitating meetings and connections between Vietnamese businesses and American timber suppliers.
